MAY 1st PUBLIC CONSULTATION DEADLINE TO INCLUDE IRISH ENGO AND C+V STAKEHOLDERS

IRISH SEAL SANCTUARY (ISS) CALLS ON MINISTER COVENEY AND EUROPEAN COMMISSION TO INCLUDE IRISH ENGO STAKEHOLDERS IN EMFF FUNDING

In Historic CFP Reform and Largest Investment in Irish Fisheries (Euro 147m from European Maritime and Fisheries Fund(EMFF) and Euro 93m nationally) the Proposed Seafood Development Programme (SDP =Operational Programme for EMFF +matching funds)  makes No (ZERO) Funding Provision for Irish ENGO Stakeholders.
For a Programme promising Reform, Sustainabilty and Recovery with Environmental and Socio-economic pre-amble to every Objective , this is a GLARING OVERSIGHT.

There is time to correct this before MAY 1st PUBLIC CONSULTATION DEADLINE

FYI : Below is the ISS Submission to SDP.    ref: Irish Skipper, November 2014 Edition,”Black Hole of Irish Fisheries”
